Job summary

Multiplex is modernising its IT landscape and seeking an IT Technical Support Engineer Lead to guide a regional team and resolve end‑user issues across offices and construction sites. The role combines hands‑on technical work with people leadership to ensure reliable service delivery.

You will mentor engineers, manage workloads, and collaborate with vendors to resolve complex problems while maintaining a focus on exceptional customer service.

Qualifications

• Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology or equivalent.
• Experience leading IT support professionals and coaching teams.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Valid driver’s licence and willingness to travel to project sites.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support regional Technical Support team of up to five engineers and resolve end-user issues across offices and projects.
• Hands-on, customer-facing role supporting hardware, applications, software and end-user computing (L1–L3).
• Oversee workloads, mentor team members, manage service requests per SLAs, collaborate with other IT teams and vendors.
• Partner with IT Support Manager to deliver services regionally and ensure quality outcomes.
• Drive continuous improvement while maintaining high customer service standards.
