Job summary

BMD Group in Western Australia is seeking a Systems Officer to provide end-user support, systems administration and technology deployment across offices and project sites. This hands-on role combines customer service with technical delivery to ensure teams have the tools they need.

Qualifications

• Experience in an IT support, systems administration or end‑user support role.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to explain technical concepts clearly.
• Proactive, organised with attention to detail and able to manage multiple locations.
• Willingness to travel regionally and interstate to support project and office teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide first-line support for business systems and technology platforms across teams.
• Coordinate regional IT helpdesk requests through Topdesk, including triage, investigation, escalation and resolution.
• Deliver systems training and user support across platforms including myJob, SharePoint, Civilpro and HammerTech.
• Support employee onboarding, inductions and systems orientation programs.
• Assist with deployment, maintenance and troubleshooting of IT equipment (computers, tablets, phones, printers, network devices).
• Conduct regular site visits to support project teams with technical assistance and user training.
• Maintain asset registers, system records and knowledge resources to support service delivery.
• Assist with user acceptance testing and rollout of new technologies and system enhancements.
• Gather feedback to drive continuous improvement of systems and user experience.
