Job summary

Wood Recruitment is seeking an experienced Operations Manager – Home Care in Currambine, WA. The role leads regional Home Care operations, supporting teams to deliver safe, high-quality and person-centred care.

The successful candidate will manage staffing, budgets, quality assurance and stakeholder relations to drive service improvement and growth across sites. Aged care expertise and strong leadership are essential.

Qualifications

• Significant experience leading large teams in aged care, community services or similar settings.
• Strong knowledge of aged care quality and safety standards.
• Proven ability to lead high-performing teams and manage operational performance.
• Excellent strategic thinking, analytical and project management skills.
• Experience with workforce planning, change management and stakeholder engagement.
• Good business and financial skills, including budget management.
• Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving abilities.
• Commitment to person-centred care, continuous improvement and staff development.
• National Police Clearance obtained within the last six months.
• Ability to travel between sites and work outside standard hours when required.

Responsibilities

• Oversee day-to-day operations and overall performance of regional Home Care services.
• Lead and support Team Leads, Scheduling Supervisors and Centre Coordinators.
• Manage workforce planning, staffing and scheduling for efficient service delivery.
• Monitor budgets, operational performance, risks and service quality.
• Ensure services meet aged care quality standards, regulatory requirements and contracts.
• Handle escalated complaints, incidents and complex client matters.
• Lead quality improvement initiatives, audits and operational reporting.
• Support business development and growth of Home Care services.
• Coach and mentor staff, conduct performance reviews and staff development.
• Build strong relationships with clients, families, government agencies and providers.
