Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning is seeking a hands-on Regional Leader to support Centre Directors across Hobart and Launceston with travel to Burnie and Devonport. You will mentor teams, guide performance, and help start-ups for new centres, ensuring quality and regulatory compliance.

Reporting to the State Operations Manager, you will travel regularly across Tasmanian centres, contribute to growth, and deliver excellent service for families and children.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services with leadership experience across several sites.
• Ability to lead, motivate and drive a team toward continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated success delivering commercial and operational outcomes.
• Up to date knowledge of childcare software and subsidy guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Guide, support and mentor Centre Directors and teams across Hobart, Launceston and future sites.
• Visit centres regularly to ensure progress, quality improvement and compliance.
• Support start-up and growth of new centres including recruitment and licensing prep.
• Lead performance management with Centre Directors and provide actionable guidance.
• Review Quality Improvement Plans and drive continuous improvement.
• Manage centre KPIs across revenue, occupancy, wages and budgets.
• Collaborate with Marketing to drive centre promotions and occupancy.
• Travel locally across Tasmanian centres to work hands-on with teams.
• Ensure centres meet regulatory requirements and safety standards.
• Foster strong relationships with families during tours and orientations.
• Support field teams with training, inductions and ongoing development.
