Job summary

Green Leaves Early Learning in Brisbane, QLD is seeking an experienced operations leader to support a group of centres across Brisbane and the Gold Coast. You will mentor Centre Directors, guide teams and drive ongoing improvement while ensuring compliance and quality across all sites.

This role involves regular interstate travel to Tasmania, building leadership capability, supporting new centre start-ups, and collaborating with marketing to grow occupancy.

Qualifications

• Advanced Diploma in Children’s Services.
• Leadership experience managing several sites in a similar role.
• Ability to lead, motivate and drive a team to focus on continuous improvement.
• Demonstrated experience achieving commercial and operational business outcomes.
• Up to date knowledge of QikKids/Kiosk and CCSS Guidelines.
• Current Queensland Blue Card and Police Check.
• Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma certificates.
• Current Child Protection Training.
• Exceptional customer service and excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Highly organized with proven ability to juggle multiple priorities and timelines.
• Willingness to travel across Brisbane, Gold Coast and interstate to Tasmania.

Responsibilities

• Live and interact with Centre Directors to mentor and guide teams to model commitments.
• Visit Centres regularly to drive progress and continuous improvement.
• Mentor Centre Directors to build leadership capability and staff development.
• Assist Centre Directors with performance management and guidance.
• Review each Centre’s QIP and drive continuous improvement.
• Support new Centre start-ups including recruitment, licensing, training, inductions, tours and openings.
• Engage with families during tours, orientations and address parent concerns.
• Keep Centres presented to an exceptional standard and resourced for learning.
• Ensure Centre compliance with regulations and build teams' compliance skills.
• Manage KPIs across revenue, occupancy, wages, debt and controllable expenses.
• Work with Marketing on Centre promotions and campaigns to drive occupancy.
• Travel regularly across Brisbane and Gold Coast Centres, and interstate to Tasmania.
