Job summary

Wesfarmers Industrial & Safety is seeking a driven Account Manager to join our established sales team in Canberra. You will build strong customer relationships, manage a growing portfolio, and present tailored product solutions while representing a trusted, industry-leading brand on the road.

Reporting to the Regional Sales Manager, you’ll develop strategic plans, collaborate with customer care and trade store teams, and strive to meet and exceed sales targets.

Qualifications

• Proven sales experience with a track record of relationship-building.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills for client interactions.
• Ability to work independently while coordinating with internal teams.
• Strategic thinking to develop and execute account plans.

Responsibilities

• Manage and grow a portfolio of new and existing accounts in the Canberra region.
• Develop strategic plans to drive sales and customer satisfaction.
• Collaborate with internal stakeholders including customer care and trade store teams.
• Conduct market and competitor analysis to identify growth opportunities.
• Maintain a territory call plan and follow up on pipeline opportunities.
• Deliver tailored product solutions and exceed sales targets.
