Job summary

BUSY At Work, part of The BUSY Group, is seeking a role based in Aitkenvale (Townsville) to build and maintain relationships with local employers, understand their resourcing needs, and effectively match candidates to opportunities.

You will work full-time, 8:30am–5pm, Monday to Friday in the office, with a focus on pipeline development, job readiness, and post-placement support. A generous bonus structure and training budget support ongoing growth.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer and client interpersonal skills.
• Ability to obtain a Blue Card and National Police Check with no outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Build a pipeline of customers through active community engagement and networking.
• Develop strong relationships with customers, face to face and over the phone, to understand placement potential.
• Conduct customer appointments and guide customers through the process, identify barriers and devise appropriate management plans and pathways.
• Meet performance indicators by converting sales leads into placements.
• Deliver effective communication and post-placement care to employers and customers.
• Maintain progress reviews and identify next steps at each milestone.

Presenting nearly 50 years’ experience in skilling solutions and services to employers and businesses, job seekers and students, through apprenticeship support services, employment, education support programs, and vocational training.

About the Role…

The key to your success in this role will be building and maintaining effective relationships with local employers, pro-actively understanding their resourcing needs and successfully matching candidates to opportunities. A solid understanding of people-centred case management principles including barrier management is core to your continued success.

This role is full time, fixed term until 30 June 2027 with the possibility of extension based in Aitkenvale; working 8:30am-5pm, Monday to Friday in office.
