JS Careers Pty is seeking a Financial Services Recruitment Consultant to join our Sydney team. You will own the full recruitment cycle, from winning clients to placing candidates, in a market where relationships and credibility count.

Based in Sydney, this permanent, full-time role offers a competitive base salary with uncapped commission, structured training and clear paths to senior roles within a collaborative, high-performance culture. Flexible working options are available.

Qualifications

• 2+ years’ recruitment experience, ideally in financial services, legal, compliance or risk.
• Track record of billing and building client relationships.
• Strong communication, negotiation and influencing skills.
• Commercial mindset, resilient and discreet with integrity.
• Good understanding of Australian financial services regulatory landscape (a plus).

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage client relationships with financial services businesses, including mortgage aggregators, lenders and advisory groups.
• Win new business through proactive outreach, market mapping and networking.
• Take job briefs, run search campaigns and manage retained and contingent assignments.
• Source, screen and interview candidates through networking, LinkedIn and direct approach.
• Advise clients and candidates on market trends, remuneration and hiring strategy.
• Manage offers, negotiations and resignations through to placement and post-start follow-up.
• Maintain accurate records in our CRM and handle personal information in line with privacy obligations.
• Meet monthly and quarterly targets for activity, revenue and placements.

You’ll own the full recruitment cycle, from winning new clients through to placing candidates, in a market where relationships and credibility count.
