Compass is seeking a motivated Recoveries Specialist to manage a portfolio of recovery claims and secure strong financial outcomes. If you have experience in debt recovery or insurance claims and enjoy negotiation, problem-solving, and working in a target-driven role, this could be the role for you.

• Experience in debt collection, recoveries, or a similar financial enforcement role.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Strong numeracy and written communication abilities.
• Confidence in presenting evidence in written or verbal form.
• Self-motivated with strong time management and independence.
• Professional and composed in high-pressure situations.

Key Responsibilities

Reporting to the Recoveries Team Leader,you'llmanage a portfolio of recovery claims and ensure prompt, fair, andaccurate outcomes by:

• Investigating and managing claims to achieve maximum recovery outcomes
• Liaising with insurance companies, third parties, and legal representatives
• Negotiating settlements to recover owed funds and reduce write-offs
• Preparing evidence and documentation to support claims recovery
• Escalating claims through legal channels where appropriate
• Working to meet team and individual KPIs related to revenue recovery and aged debt
• Contributing to team meetings and continuous improvement activities
• Minimising aged debt through proactive portfolio management

• Familiarity with the motor vehicle or motor insurance industry
• Knowledge of road rules and motor liability
• CAPI licence (desirable but not essential)
