Job summary

dnata catering & retail at Sydney Airport is seeking a highly organised Receiving Officer to join the Purchasing team. You will receipting, verify deliveries, and ensure inventory is correctly recorded to support daily operations.

You will work with ERP systems and MS Office, liaise with suppliers, and contribute to stock counts and monthly processes. This role offers competitive pay, 5 weeks annual leave, onsite parking, staff meals, and career progression.

Responsibilities

• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Support stock counts, audits, and monthly processes; coordinate timely distribution of goods.

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Receiving Officer to join our Purchasing team based at Sydney Airport.

Reporting to the Manager, Purchasing, you will be responsible for the accurate receipting, verification, and processing of incoming deliveries, ensuring inventory is recorded correctly and supports daily operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and documentation
• Accurately receipt goods into the ERP system within required timeframes
• Record and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery and invoicing issues
• Maintain accurate records and documentation
• Support stock counts, audits, and monthly processesCoordinate timely distribution of goods to internal teams
