Job summary

dnata catering & retail in Sydney is seeking a full-time Storesperson to manage inventory and ensure efficient warehouse operations behind the scenes for in-flight dining experiences.

Key duties include receiving and inspecting stock, labelling and storing goods, operating forklifts, and coordinating with suppliers to maintain accuracy. Candidates should have a forklift licence (high reach preferred), pallet jack experience, and be available for weekend shifts.

Qualifications

• Must have full ongoing working rights in Australia.
• Current forklift licence (high reach preferred) and experience with pallet jacks.
• Experience in warehouse/storehouse operations, including stock handling and storage.
• Good organisational and time management skills.
• Availability to work shifts, including weekends and public holidays.
• Good communication and basic numeracy for reporting.

Responsibilities

• Receiving and inspecting incoming products and ensuring quality/quantity meet standards.
• Unpacking, labelling and organising stock; maintaining a clean, safe warehouse.
• Safely operating forklifts and manual handling devices.
• Managing orders and liaising with suppliers to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Performing administrative tasks and manual stock takes.
• Follow all food safety, safety and hygiene policies (HACCP, IFSA, QSAI).
• Willingness to assist in other operational areas as needed.

A day in the life of a Storesperson

Join our Sydney team as a full-time Storesperson and be responsible for managing inventory and ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse. Your work behind the scenes helps create a smooth in-flight dining experience for thousands of passengers every day. Your key responsibilities include:

• Receiving and inspecting incoming products, ensuring quality and quantity meet our standards.
• Unpacking, labelling, and organising stock while maintaining a clean, safe warehouse.
• Safely operating forklifts and manual handling devices.

About You

• Ability to pass pre-employment checks, incl. National Police Check and medical assessment.
• Current forklift licence (high reach preferred) and experience with pallet jacks (essential).

• Good communication and basic numeracy skills for reporting.
