Job summary

dnata at Sydney Airport is seeking a highly organized Receiving Officer to join the Purchasing team. You will be responsible for accurate receipting, verification and processing of incoming deliveries, ensuring inventory is recorded correctly to support daily operational requirements.

Reporting to the Manager, Purchasing, you will verify deliveries, enter data into the ERP, liaise with suppliers to resolve issues and support stock counts and monthly processes in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in receiving, purchasing or inventory control.
• Strong attention to detail and administrative accuracy.
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.
• Experience with ERP systems and Microsoft Office.
• Strong organisational and time-management skills.
• Exposure to airline catering or logistics (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and documentation.
• Accurately receive goods into the ERP system within required timeframes.
• Record and report discrepancies, damages or shortages.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery and invoicing issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Support stock counts, audits and monthly processes.
• Coordinate timely distribution of goods to internal teams.

About The Role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Receiving Officer to join our Purchasing team based at Sydney Airport.
