Job summary

dnata catering is seeking a highly organised Receiving Officer to join the Purchasing team at Sydney Airport. You will accurately receipting and verify deliveries, ensuring inventory is recorded in the ERP system and aligns with purchase orders.

Ideal candidates have experience in receiving, purchasing or inventory control, strong attention to detail, excellent communication and problem-solving skills, and the ability to manage competing priorities in a high-volume environment.

Responsibilities

• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and documentation.
• Accurately receipt goods into the ERP system within required timeframes.
• Record and report discrepancies, damages, or shortages.
• Liaise with suppliers to resolve delivery and invoicing issues.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation.
• Support stock counts, audits, and monthly processes.
• Coordinate timely distribution of goods to internal teams.

About the role

We are seeking a highly organised and detail-focused Receiving Officer to join our Purchasing team based at Sydney Airport.

Reporting to the Manager, Purchasing, you will be responsible for the accurate receipting, verification, and processing of incoming deliveries, ensuring inventory is recorded correctly and supports daily operational requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders and documentation
