Job summary

dnata catering and retail in Sydney Airport is seeking a driven Unit Logistics Officer to monitor domestic and international airline stock, coordinating with stakeholders to ensure stock meets daily demand. The role includes leading a small warehouse team and ensuring compliance with ABF regulations.

You will manage stock reviews, coordinate deliveries from offsite warehouses, and operate the ERP system with precise data entry while maintaining documentation for audits.

Qualifications

• Experience in logistics, production processes, and warehousing.
• Aviation knowledge is a plus.
• Proficient in Excel with documentation and records management.
• Excellent written and verbal communication.
• Clear National Police Check.

Responsibilities

• Manage daily stock reviews and internal distribution of inbound stock.
• Report and handle damaged or de-listed stock in line with ABF regulations.
• Coordinate stock deliveries from offsite warehouses and airline customers.
• Maintain documentation for customs audits and compliance reports.
• Monitor stock expiry/date codes and ensure timely reporting.
• Plan and forecast equipment and stock levels at kitchens and 3PL locations, including weekends, holidays, and peak periods.
• Support scheduled airline audits and follow up on action points.
• Operate the ERP system with accurate data entry.
• Lead a small warehouse team, ensuring daily tasks are completed efficiently.
• Maintain and optimise dnata’s internal delivery system to meet all internal customer needs.

We’re seeking a driven and experienced stock management professional to join our high-performing team as a Unit Logistics Officer at our busy Flight Catering unit in Sydney Airport – full-time.

About the role

You will monitor domestic and international airline stock and equipment levels, coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to ensure sufficient stock is available to meet daily demand.
