Job summary

Metcash is seeking an experienced Receivals Supervisor to join the Superior Foods distribution centre in Pinkenba on a full-time basis. You will lead daily stock receivals and ensure every delivery is processed safely, accurately, and in line with food safety standards.

Reporting to the Operations Manager, the role is hands-on, coaching a small team in a high-production, multi-temperature environment. A current forklift licence and WMS knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2–3 years leadership in warehouse or receivals.
• Experience in high-volume, multi-temperature operation.
• Current forklift licence.
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems.
• MS Office or Microsoft 365 experience.
• Clear communication and team leadership skills.
• Pronto or Navigator experience would be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Lead safe, efficient receivals operations across the site (Pinkenba).
• Supervise food safety, HACCP and critical control point compliance.
• Ensure inbound stock is checked and validated against purchase orders.
• Coordinate claims and posting of received orders.
• Maintain accurate receivals documentation and records.
• Coach and support a small operational team; provide hands-on coverage as needed.

About The Opportunity

We’re looking for an experienced Receivals Supervisor to join our Superior Foods distribution centre in Pinkenba on a full-time basis. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will lead daily stock receivals and help ensure every delivery is processed safely, accurately and in line with food safety, HACCP and SHE requirements.

This is a practical leadership opportunity for someone who enjoys coaching a team, improving process discipline and staying hands-on in a busy, multi-temperature warehouse environment.

In this Role

• Lead safe and efficient receivals operations across the site
• Supervise food safety, HACCP and critical control point compliance
• Ensure stock is checked and validated against purchase orders
• Coordinate claims and the posting of received orders
• Ensure inbound stock is received and validated within required timeframes
• Maintain accurate receivals documentation and records
• Coach and support a small operational team
• Step into daily operations and provide hands-on support when required

What are we looking for?

• A minimum of 2-3 years’ warehouse or receivals leadership experience
• Experience in a high-volume, multi-temperature operation
• A current forklift licence
• Knowledge of warehouse management systems
• Microsoft Office or Microsoft 365 experience
• Clear communication and team leadership skills
• Strong attention to detail and an outcomes-focused approach
• Pronto or Navigator experience would be highly regarded
