Job summary

Linfox Intermodal is seeking a Transport Allocator to join our East Arm team in Darwin. In this fast-paced operational role you will coordinate daily freight allocations, liaising with drivers, subcontractors and customers to ensure safe, on-time deliveries.

You will monitor fleet utilisation, maintain transport system data and ensure compliance with CoR and fatigue management. The role rewards strong problem-solving, autonomy and a customer-focused mindset within a supportive team.

Qualifications

• Experience in transport allocations, scheduling or fleet control.
• Understanding of CoR, fatigue management and heavy vehicle compliance.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management.
• Highly organized with ability to multitask in fast-paced settings.
• Proficient in transport management systems and Excel.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate daily freight allocations, collections, deliveries and changeovers.
• Communicate with drivers, subcontractors and internal teams.
• Monitor fleet utilisation and provide real-time operational support.
• Ensure compliance with CoR, fatigue management and maintenance schedules.
• Maintain transport system data, records and reporting.
• Escalate service and safety incidents and support continuous improvement.
• Deliver exceptional customer service to stakeholders.
