Job summary

FourQuarters Recruitment is seeking a Business Development Manager for a leading Australian lender specializing in real estate lending. You will drive profitable growth by originating loans, managing broker relationships, and collaborating with credit, underwriting and operations teams to move deals from application to settlement.

You will own a portfolio of mortgage brokers, provide product education and credit guidance, and ensure compliance with responsible lending standards while staying

Qualifications

• Proven loan origination in non-bank or bank with settlement volumes.
• Established broker network with strong engagement and repeat business.
• Sound knowledge of residential and commercial credit policy.
• Ability to structure complex lending solutions.
• Excellent stakeholder management and negotiation skills.
• Commercially driven and able to work under pressure.
• Bachelor's degree preferred; proficiency in MS Office; Power BI advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Drive new loan origination across the real estate lending suite.
• Serve as primary contact for broker partners and nurture relationships.
• Provide product education, credit guidance, and deal structuring support.
• Manage pipeline quality, conversion, and forecasting accuracy.
• Grow active brokers and align with credit and underwriting teams.
• Monitor market trends and ensure responsible lending compliance.
• Collaborate to progress deals from application to settlement.
