Job summary

Sydney Trains is transforming how overhead wiring infrastructure is inspected and maintained. As Change Manager, you will lead the integrated change strategy, ensuring technology-enabled inspections are adopted smoothly while managing workforce impacts and industrial relations across the organisation.

You will partner with operational leaders, HR, and unions to embed new processes and encourage safe, efficient ways of working.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex change initiatives within large, operation-focused organisations.
• Strong capability in change impact assessments and workforce transition planning.
• Experience managing industrial relations considerations and union engagement.

Responsibilities

• Develop and implement an integrated change management strategy aligned with program milestones.
• Engage stakeholders across operations, maintenance and corporate functions.
• Lead change impact assessments and transition plans with HR and operational leaders.
• Drive adoption of digital inspection methods and new working practices.
• Align emerging inspection functions with frontline maintenance teams for a coordinated transition.
• Collaborate with Employee Relations and unions to manage risks and issue resolution.
• Create targeted communications, engagement and training to build capability.
• Lead readiness assessments and post-deployment support to embed new ways of working.
