Job summary

Imaging Associates, a progressive radiology provider with clinics across Melbourne and surrounding regions, is seeking a Medical Imaging Receptionist at our Box Hill clinic and booking centre. You will be the first point of contact for patients, handling calls, bookings, inquiries, and follow-ups to ensure a compassionate and efficient patient experience.

Qualifications

• Previous medical administration or contact centre experience.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Experience working autonomously and in a team within a fast-paced environment.
• High level of attention to detail and commitment to quality outcomes.
• Confident with technology and managing multiple systems while talking with patients.
• Flexibility to work across a rotating roster between 8am and 8pm, Mon-Thu, and 8am-6pm Fridays.

Responsibilities

• Handle inbound calls and answer patient inquiries calmly and professionally.
• Greet patients and maintain a smooth patient workflow.
• Manage patient bookings, rescheduling, and cancellations.
• Provide information to patients and referrers regarding imaging services.
• Maintain patient records accurately and confidentially.
• Perform administrative tasks to support the wider team.
• Support billing tasks including invoicing and receipting.

Imaging Associates is a progressive and premium provider of radiology services, owned and operated by a team of highly respected Radiologists.

With clinics located across Melbourne, Gippsland, and Wagga Wagga, and more opening throughout the coming months, we are expanding our patient-facing team at our Box Hill clinic and Box Hill booking centre, along with our surrounding clinics.

We are currently seeking a Medical Imaging Receptionist to join us on our growth journey - a role that plays a vital part in shaping the first impression our patients receive and ensuring the smooth, compassionate experience Imaging Associates is known for.

What will you be doing?

As the first point of contact, you’ll play a vital role in supporting patients through their medical imaging journey. You’ll manageinbound calls, providing clear and compassionate communication while handling bookings, enquiries, and follow-ups, along with the overall patient workflow.
