Job summary

Arcare is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join our quality governance team in NSW. The role involves supporting Residence Managers, auditing and reporting, and mentoring staff to uphold aged care standards across multiple residences.

You will travel to Central Coast three days per week, contributing to quality improvement, education, and accreditation readiness while enjoying access to comprehensive employee discounts and development opportunities.

Qualifications

• Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Standards, Guidelines and Regulations.
• Adaptable, passionate and willing to learn.
• Collaborative with strong teamwork and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Support Residence Managers in maintaining systems and processes.
• Accurate auditing and reporting to Residence Managers and senior leaders.
• Contribute to quality improvement processes at Arcare.
• Assist with accreditation preparation for the Quality Agency.
• Educate staff on accreditation standards and quality matters.
• Mentor managers and staff in aged care quality and compliance.

About the Role

Your responsibilities include supporting Residence Managers in ensuring systems and processes are maintained. Ensuring accurate auditing and reporting to Managers. Acting as a mentor to managers and staff in developing their understanding of aged care quality and compliance which will make you an integral part of the Quality team.

Your primary functions will be:

• Support role to residence managers in ensuring systems and processes are maintained.
• Accurate auditing and reporting to Residence Managers, Regional Operational Managers, State Operation Managers the General Manager Clinical Governance and Client Safety is conducted in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the quality improvement processes at Arcare.
• Assist residence managers and other in preparation for accreditation visits by the Quality Agency.
• Provide education to staff as appropriate regarding the accreditation standards and other quality issues.
• Act as a mentor to managers and staff in developing their understanding of aged care quality and compliance.

Skills & Experience

• Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Act, Standards, Guideline and Regulations.
• Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
• Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
• Friendly and effective communication abilities.
