Job summary

Arcare is seeking a Quality Support Officer to span NSW residences, including travel to the Central Coast three days per week. You will support managers, audit and report on quality and compliance, and mentor staff in aged care standards. Access to discounts and ongoing development are provided.

The role emphasizes collaboration, education, and active participation in accreditation readiness and quality improvements.

Qualifications

• Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Act, Standards, Guidelines and Regulations.
• Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.

• Friendly and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support Residence Managers in maintaining systems and processes.
• Ensure accurate auditing and timely reporting to managers.

• Contribute to quality improvement processes at Arcare.
• Assist in preparation for accreditation visits by the Quality Agency.
• Provide education to staff regarding accreditation standards and quality issues.

About The Role

Your responsibilities include supporting Residence Managers in ensuring systems and processes are maintained. Ensuring accurate auditing and reporting to Managers. Acting as a mentor to managers and staff in developing their understanding of aged care quality and compliance which will make you an integral part of the Quality team.

Your Primary Functions Will Be

• Support role to residence managers in ensuring systems and processes are maintained.
• Accurate auditing and reporting to Residence Managers, Regional Operational Managers, State Operation Managers the General Manager Clinical Governance and Client Safety is conducted in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the quality improvement processes at Arcare.
• Assist residence managers and other in preparation for accreditation visits by the Quality Agency.
• Provide education to staff as appropriate regarding the accreditation standards and other quality issues.
• Act as a mentor to managers and staff in developing their understanding of aged care quality and compliance.

Skills & Experience

• Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
• Current AHPRA Registration.
• Knowledge of Aged Care Act, Standards, Guideline and Regulations.
• Adaptable, passionate and willingness to learn.
• Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
