Job summary

Arcare Aged Care on the Gold Coast is seeking a Quality Support professional to assist across Parkwood, Helensvale and Pimpama sites. You will mentor managers, maintain systems, and lead auditing and reporting to senior figures in the organisation.

The role emphasizes supporting accreditation readiness, staff education on standards, and improving quality and compliance within the aged care sector.

Qualifications

• Registered or Enrolled Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Knowledge of the Aged Care Act, Standards, Guidelines, and Regulations.
• Adaptable, passionate and willing to learn.
• Collaborative and skilled at teamwork.
• Friendly and effective communication abilities.

Responsibilities

• Support residence managers in maintaining systems and processes.
• Conduct accurate auditing and timely reporting to multiple managers.
• Contribute to quality improvement processes at Arcare.
• Assist in preparation for accreditation visits by the Quality Agency.
• Provide education to staff regarding accreditation standards and quality issues.
• Mentor managers and staff in understanding aged care quality and compliance.

About the Role

Travelling across the Sunshine Coast and working remotely for our North Shore site, your responsibilities include supporting Residence Managers in ensuring systems and processes are maintained. Ensuring accurate auditing and reporting to Managers. Acting as a mentor to managers and staff in developing their understanding of aged care quality and compliance, which will make you an integral part of the Quality team.

Your primary functions will be:

• Support role to residence managers in ensuring systems and processes are maintained.
• Accurate auditing and reporting to Residence Managers, Regional Operational Managers, State Operations Managers, the General Manager, and Clinical Governance and Client Safety is conducted in a timely manner.
• Contribute to the quality improvement processes at Arcare.
• Assist residence managers and others in preparation for accreditation visits by the Quality Agency.
• Provide education to staff as appropriate regarding the accreditation standards and other quality issues.
• Act as a mentor to managers and staff in developing their understanding of aged care quality and compliance.

Skills & Experience

• Registered or Enrolled Nurse.
