ABB Motion in Australia seeks a senior Quality Manager to lead the local quality management system, drive continuous improvement, and ensure certification readiness. You will coordinate quality across MOIM, MOSE, MOHP, and MODP divisions, guiding teams and partnering with sales to meet customer expectations.

The role emphasizes strategic quality leadership, coaching, and extensive stakeholder engagement across multiple locations, with a hybrid work model. Australian Citizenship is required.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading or supporting QMS in a regulated environment.
• Strong Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC expertise for continuous improvement.
• Ability to analyse, trend, and present quality data for strategic decisions.
• Experience leading or supporting complex investigations and CAPA implementations.
• Coaching and stakeholder management across diverse teams.

Responsabilités

• Lead the quality strategy for the local ABB unit to ensure robust, sustainable QMS.
• Ensure internal and external communication relevant to quality management systems.
• Implement short, medium, and long-term IMS strategy with risk-based planning.
• Establish a closed-loop quality cycle from customer engagement to delivery.
• Work with Sales to monitor customer requirements and quality indicators.
• Coach teams to improve core business processes (Sales, Tendering, Invoicing).
• Support and review investigations to ensure root cause is determined and actions are taken.
