Job summary

ABB Motion is seeking a Quality Leader in Australia to deploy and lead the quality strategy for a local unit, ensuring customer satisfaction and sustainable operations. You will drive the IMS design, oversee quality culture, and coordinate across functions to meet certification requirements.

The role requires 5+ years in QMS, Lean Six Sigma, CAPA leadership, and a technical degree with Australian citizenship. Hybrid work and competitive benefits are offered.

Qualifications

• 5+ years’ experience leading or supporting QMS in regulated environments.
• Strong Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC background driving improvements.
• Ability to trend and present quality data for decisions.
• Experience with CAPA investigations and corrective actions.
• Australian Citizenship required; engineering degree or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality strategy for a local ABB unit and ensure sustainable operations.
• Coordinate internal and external communication on quality management.
• Develop and implement IMS strategy with local management.
• Establish a closed loop quality cycle from engagement to delivery.
• Coach teams to improve sales, tendering, invoicing processes.
• Review investigations to ensure root cause is identified and actions taken.
