ABB Motion in Australia seeks an experienced Quality leader to drive the local quality strategy across multiple divisions, building robust systems, processes and a culture of continuous improvement. You will align with stakeholders across Motion Local Division Managers and HSEQ leaders to ensure world-class quality outcomes.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience leading or supporting QMS in regulated environments
• Strong Lean Six Sigma and DMAIC expertise to drive continuous improvement
• Ability to analyse quality data to support strategic decision-making
• Experience leading investigations with CAPA
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering (or related field); Australian Citizenship required
• SAP, Salesforce, and Qualtrics experience is advantageous

Responsibilities

• Lead the quality strategy for the local ABB unit; ensure the Quality Management Function is robust and sustainable
• Coordinate internal and external communications relevant to quality management
• Implement short, medium- and long-term strategies to develop the quality management system with local management
• Establish a closed-loop quality cycle from initial engagement to delivery of product or service
• Collaborate with Sales to monitor customer requirements and quality indicators
• Coach teams to improve core business processes (Sales, Tendering, Invoicing, etc)
• Support and review investigations to ensure root cause is identified and CAPA actions are raised
