Job summary

Bupa Ballina is seeking a Quality and Education Manager to lead quality care and education at our Ballina aged care home. You will drive governance, ensure compliance with the Aged Care Quality Standards, and support the leadership team to sustain high performance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Nursing with current APHRA is essential.
• Postgraduate qualification in Aged Care and Cert IV in Training and Assessment (TAE40116) is desirable.
• Proven track record in delivering quality clinical care, coaching, delivering training.
• Ability to foster a team environment and build collaborative relationships.
• Highly effective communication, leadership, and relationship management skills.
• An understanding of Resident Rights, Aged Care Accreditation Standards and Outcomes.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality focused leadership and coaching.
• Guidance in documentation/recording to meet outcomes.
• Develop team knowledge on practice within Aged Care Standards.
• Identify learning needs and create development plans.
• Ensure care home and team prepared through PCI and review progress.
• Complete month end Quality Indicator Report and articulate insights.
• Coordinate NQIP data submission and implement improvements.
• Coordinate monthly Care Home Audits within the audit program.
• Deliver high quality resident-centered clinical care and maintain records.
