Job summary

A family-owned aged care provider in Grafton is seeking a passionate Registered Nurse to fill a newly created role focused on staff training and quality improvement. The position offers the flexibility of part-time or full-time work, with responsibilities including preparing data analysis, supporting accreditation visits, and delivering training. The ideal candidate will have strong clinical knowledge, excellent communication skills, and an ability to inspire and engage staff. Qualifications

• Experience as an Educator, Quality Specialist, or Senior Registered Nurse in residential aged care.
• Ability to conduct audits and analyse data.

• Energetic, proactive, passionate, computer savvy, and a big picture approach to quality and education.

The newly created role

• Option to work part time (minimum 3 days) or full time at our 61‑bed Grafton aged care facility
• Assist with the preparation and ongoing readiness for accreditation visits
• Prepare data analysis, reports and trends to identify priorities and risks, and support the continuous improvement plan for the home
• Plan, coordinate and deliver education
• Conduct training needs analysis to identify the areas of education to focus on
• Evaluate the effectiveness of the training provided and make any necessary improvements
• Deliver education on orientation days for new staff

About you

• Registered Nurse with AHPRA and experience working as an Educator, Quality Specialist or Senior Registered Nurse in residential aged care
• Excellent clinical knowledge and a sound understanding of the strengthened standards
