Job summary

JOBSTAR PTY LTD in Frankston is seeking a qualified Baker for early morning production. The role covers 2:00am–10:00am, six days a week Tuesday to Saturday with additional day as required.

You will join an experienced production team producing breads, pastries and bakery items to high quality standards. The ideal candidate has qualified Baker status, commercial baking experience and a strong grasp of baking techniques and food safety.

Qualifications

• Must be a qualified Baker with commercial baking experience.
• Strong knowledge of baking techniques and processes.
• Reliable, punctual and hardworking.
• Able to work early morning shifts.
• Works well independently and as part of a team.

Responsibilities

• Preparing and mixing doughs and batters.
• Producing breads, rolls, pastries and other bakery products.
• Measuring and preparing ingredients accurately.
• Operating and monitoring bakery equipment.
• Following recipes and production requirements.
• Ensuring products are baked to a high standard.
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area.
• Following food safety and workplace health and safety procedures.
• Assisting with daily bakery production.
• Working effectively as part of a team.
