The Elmore Bakery is looking for a Qualified Baker to join a supportive team in Elmore, Victoria. You will be responsible for all aspects of production, from baking to presentation, while mentoring apprentices and bakery assistants.

We offer a competitive salary package for a full-time role of 70k–85k plus super, with early morning shifts and opportunities for career development in a busy, customer-focused environment.

Qualificações

• Two years’ baking experience in a fast-paced environment.
• Certificate IV in Retail Baking or equivalent/high trade qualification.
• Passion for baking.
• Morning shifts/early starts.
• Reliable transport.
• Strong interpersonal and team skills.

Responsabilidades

• Produce and present high-quality baked goods across all production areas.
• Coach and support development of junior staff such as Apprentices and Bakers Assistants.
• Maintain cleanliness and safety of the bakery.
• Assist Production Manager with stock control and production scheduling.
• Provide excellent customer service when required.

• Confident in all areas of production
• Baking and presenting quality product to meet changing customer needs
• Coaching and supporting the development of junior staff such as Apprentices and Bakers Assistants
• Maintaining the cleanliness and safety of the bakery
• Assist Production Manager with stock control and production schedules
• Providing delightful customer service when required

Skills and Experience:

• At least two years’ experience as a baker in a fast-paced environment;
• Certificate IV in Retail Baking (or equivalent or higher trade qualifications)
• Have a passion for baking
• Be a morning person! Some shifts commence early in the morning
• Have a reliable form of transportation
• Strong interpersonal skills with proven ability to cultivate strong relationships in a team-based environment.
