Job summary

Jobstar in Frankston is seeking a Qualified Baker for casual full-time hours with above award wages. The role features early morning shifts (2:00am–10:00am), Tuesday to Saturday with additional days as required, and a supportive production team environment.

You will prepare breads, pastries and bakery products, follow recipes, monitor quality and food safety, and contribute to daily bakery production while maintaining a clean workspace.

About the Role

As a Qualified Baker, you will be responsible for preparing and producing a range of fresh bakery products while maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and food safety.

Your duties will include:

• Preparing and mixing doughs and batters
• Producing breads, rolls, pastries and other bakery products
• Measuring and preparing ingredients accurately
• Operating and monitoring bakery equipment
• Following recipes and production requirements
• Ensuring products are baked to a high standard
• Maintaining a clean and organised work area
• Following food safety and workplace health and safety procedures
• Assisting with daily bakery production
• Working effectively as part of a team
