Job summary

Westpac Institutional Bank in Sydney seeks an Associate Director, Pursuit Manager to lead bids and tender responses for Global Transactions Services. You will coordinate inputs from Deal Leads, Product, Legal and Compliance to ensure compelling client proposals.

You will also support client pitches, develop high-quality content and maintain consistent sales materials, while keeping pursuits on schedule and aligned with Westpac's client-centric value proposition.

Qualifications

• Experience leading complex tenders, RFPs and proactive proposals, with the ability to manage the process from initial brief through to final submission.
• Strong project management and stakeholder management skills, with the confidence to coordinate multiple contributors, priorities and deadlines.
• Experience within banking or financial services, with an understanding of the needs of institutional or business banking clients.
• Strong written communication and content development skills, including creating client proposals, pitch presentations and persuasive sales content.
• An understanding of transactional banking would be highly regarded, alongside the ability to quickly learn complex products and translate technical information into clear, client-focused messaging.

Responsibilities

• Lead the development of compelling bids and tender responses, coordinating inputs from Deal Leads and stakeholders across Product, Legal, Compliance, Risk, Pricing, Marketing and Corporate Affairs.
• Support client pitches and presentations, help develop and maintain high-quality content, and ensure sales materials are clear, consistent and ready for use.
• Coordinate contributions and keep pursuits moving to deadline, across multiple teams and deadlines.
