Job summary

Westpac is seeking a Director, Team Leader Sales – Client Engagement, Global Transactional Services in Melbourne. You will lead a high-performing sales team focused on revenue growth, new client acquisitions and expanding wallet share across relationships.

You’ll drive sales strategy, pipeline growth and client campaigns while collaborating with product, relationship management, operations and risk teams to deliver exceptional client outcomes.

Qualifications

Proven track record delivering revenue growth and new client acquisitions.
Experience leading and coaching sales teams to exceed targets.
Strong client-centric approach to solution design and relationship management.
Excellent influencing, communication and presentation skills.
Ability to balance commercial opportunity with risk and compliance obligations.

Responsibilities

Lead a high-performing transaction banking sales team within Global Transaction Services.
Drive revenue growth and expand share of wallet across existing relationships.
Oversee sales strategy, pipeline growth, and client campaigns.
Coordinate with product, relationship management, operations and risk teams.
Coach team members to optimize performance and risk management.
Support launch of new customer solutions.
