Job summary

Westpac Institutional Bank in Sydney is seeking a sales support professional to enable and coordinate bid management, deal flow and sales activity. The role supports Senior Sales Managers and focuses on progressing new business, client requests and transformation opportunities across portfolios.

You will potentially manage a small client portfolio and build skills for a longer-term career in transaction banking sales, with a minimum commitment of 18–24 months in the ATRM role.

Qualifications

• Experience supporting clients in banking, financial services or another complex service environment.
• Strong relationship-building skills and the ability to communicate clearly with clients and internal stakeholders.
• Ability to organise competing priorities and follow client requests through to completion with attention to detail.
• Practical understanding of transactional banking products, lending, or financial markets.
• Proactive and collaborative mindset focused on improving the client experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide enablement, execution, coordination and sales administrative support to Senior Sales Managers.
• Support end-to-end deal lifecycle coordination, including pricing, internal approvals and stakeholder follow-up.
• Assist with bid management, deal flow and overall sales activity to progress portfolio opportunities.
• Independently manage a small portfolio of clients while developing skills for a longer-term transaction banking sales career.
