United Rentals Australia/New Zealand is seeking an Installer for Condell Park NSW. The role involves coordinating pump and dewatering projects with the branch team, ensuring equipment meets specs and on-site safety standards are followed.

You will work closely with customers, engineers and contractors to deliver successful outcomes. The ideal candidate brings strong communication, teamwork, and site-experience, with a solid understanding of pumps and dewatering.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, deliver, and install dewatering projects and perform system checks.
• Coordinate with customers, engineers and contractors to meet project needs.
• Plan logistics, ensure equipment availability, and manage deliveries.
• Install per quotation specs and provide on-site training and support.
• Maintain equipment, inspect returns, and arrange servicing when needed.
• Ensure safety via risk assessments, licenses, PPE and policies.
• Complete paperwork, schedule deliveries and document damages.
• Identify opportunities to upsell products and improve outcomes.
• Work with the team to maintain standards and presentable appearance.

About the Role

The role of the Installer - Condell Park NSW is to work in conjunction with the branch operations/sales team to coordinate the Pump and Dewatering projects within the region in accordance with United Rentals expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare, deliver, and install dewatering related projects. Carry out required system checks of current installations for effective operation throughout project duration.
• Communicate effectively with customers, engineers, contractors, and stakeholders to ensure equipment suitability and manage project requirements.
• Organise correct quantities and types of equipment for projects, ensure availability, and assist with planning and implementation of project logistics.
• Ensure products are installed per quotation specifications, identify discrepancies, and provide on-site training and technical support to customers.
• Maintain all equipment in working order, conduct inspections of returned equipment, ensure proper testing equipment availability and manage timely servicing.
• Maintain safe work environments, conduct risk assessments, ensure valid licenses, comply with company policies and wear appropriate PPE.
• Complete accurate paperwork, manage delivery schedules, conduct damage assessments with repair scope documentation and maintain proper records.
• Identify opportunities to promote additional products and work toward optimal outcomes for both United Rentals and customers.
• Work effectively as part of a team, maintain high personal presentation standards and adopt solution-focused approaches to challenges.

• Ability to read and understand OEM maintenance documentation
• Experience with construction and/or working on sites

• Confide space entrance ticket advantageous
