Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd in Sydney is seeking an Account Manager to drive NSW & Victoria public sector cloud adoption. You will develop and manage a sales pipeline, engage key government decision makers, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver compelling cloud solutions that meet customer outcomes.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in technology sales within government IT, data centers, cloud services, and cloud adoption.

Qualifications

• Experience in Sales/Business Development or Account Management roles
• 5+ years of technology platform sales with an understanding of government IT, data centers, cloud services and cloud adoption experience

Responsibilities

• Work to increasing adoption of AWS cloud services in a defined territory
• Help create and maintain a robust sales pipeline of opportunities in existing accounts as well as driving net new business
• Articulate a compelling value propositions to customers
• Work with AWS partners to manage joint selling opportunities
• Assist customers in identifying use cases for adoption of cloud services
• Develop long-term strategic relationships with key accounts
