Job summary

Amazon Web Services Australia Pty Ltd is seeking a Senior Account Executive to drive growth in the ANZ Public Sector, managing a portfolio of government accounts and delivering revenue targets while guiding cloud transformation.

You will work with Solutions Architects and Partners to tailor AWS solutions, build executive relationships, and navigate procurement to close strategic deals.

Qualifications

• Experience creating and implementing long-term transformational account strategies in a customer-facing role.
• Experience developing, negotiating and executing business agreements.
• Experience in oral and written communication.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent.
• Experience working with technology customers, such as software providers.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute account plans for public sector customers to drive revenue and cloud adoption.
• Build relationships with senior stakeholders across government agencies.
• Manage a robust sales pipeline from lead to close.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver customer outcomes.
• Navigate government procurement processes and respond to RFPs/RFTs.
