Job summary

Appreciating Talent in Sydney is seeking a part-time PT Payroll Officer to join a leading property investment and funds management team. You will help process the monthly payroll for 500+ staff, including off-cycle runs, using Chris21/iChris, and support the People Team with terminations and payroll reporting.

The role offers a 3 or 4 day work week with a salary between $100,000 and $110,000 plus a bonus, depending on experience.

Job Description

The Company:

A leading property investment and funds management business with a strong presence across commercial, industrial and social infrastructure sectors.

The Role:

This is a permanent part-time Payroll Officer position reporting to the Payroll Manager. Ideally, the successful candidate will have Chris21/iChris experience. This role can be a 3 day work week or 4.

Your duties will include:

• Assisting with the preparation and processing of the monthly payroll for approximately 500+ employees, including off-cycle payrolls using Chris21 software
• Providing a high level of customer service when responding to payroll enquiries
• Preparing termination calculations as required by the People Team
• Preparing payroll reports following payroll processing and as required by Finance
• Preparing monthly payroll journals
• Providing Employment Separation Certificates to employees and as required by Centrelink

The Candidate:

This role will suit a candidate looking for part-time work. It is highly desirable that the successful candidate has end-to-end payroll experience using Chris21.
