Job summary

seek.com.au is seeking an experienced Property Operations Manager to oversee the operational performance of a growing Sunshine Coast accommodation and property organisation. Working with the General Manager, you will guide teams across Guest Services, Administration and Operations to deliver strong business outcomes, exceptional owner and guest experiences, and consistent service standards.

You will balance commercial priorities with quality service, identify opportunities for improvement,

Qualifications

• Experience in operations management within accommodation, property, hospitality, tourism or related service business.
• Ability to manage teams across departments and implement operational change.
• Strong budgeting, cost management, reporting and process improvement.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management with familiarity of Google Workspace, CRM systems and property management software.

About the role

You’ll oversee the people, processes and performance that support a successful accommodation portfolio, ensuring departments work cohesively to deliver strong business outcomes and exceptional owner and guest experiences.

With visibility across Guest Services, Administration and Operations, you’ll balance commercial priorities with service quality, identify opportunities for improvement and provide clear direction on complex operational matters.

Your key responsibilities

• Manage, mentor and support departmental teams, aligning priorities, resources and accountability to meet business objectives and seasonal demand.

• Oversee operational performance and service standards across the portfolio, ensuring departments work cohesively to deliver consistent owner and guest experiences.

• Maintain oversight of financial performance to stay informed of business results and emerging trends.

• Strengthen owner and stakeholder relationships, oversee complex escalations and collaborate with Sales and Marketing to support retention, occupancy and revenue growth.

• Implement agreed business plans, improve systems and governance, oversee compliance and provide performance insights and recommendations to the GM.

About you

You’re a commercially minded, people-focused manager who can see the broader business picture while recognising where attention is needed. You bring sound judgement, high emotional intelligence and the confidence to make decisions, guide teams and manage competing priorities.

You will bring:

• Proven background and experience in operations management or a comparable senior role within accommodation, property, hospitality, tourism or a related service business.

• Demonstrated ability to manage teams across departments, improve performance and implement operational change.

• Strong commercial capability, including budgeting, cost management, reporting and process improvement.

• Excellent communication, negotiation and stakeholder management skills, with confidence using Google Workspace, CRM systems, property management software and app-based platforms.
