Job summary

Strathfield Council in Sydney's Inner West is seeking a motivated Project Support Officer to join our team. You will help deliver place activation, town-centre improvements, events and grant-funded projects that boost vibrant public spaces and local economic development.

You will coordinate across Council and external stakeholders, manage project plans, track progress and reporting, and support engagement, consultation and governance to ensure successful outcomes.

Qualifications

• Experience coordinating projects with multiple workstreams, stakeholders and deadlines.
• Ability to prepare clear and accurate reports, briefs, procurement documents and grant evidence.
• Strong organisational skills to manage work plans and competing priorities.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate place-making projects in line with schedules and funding guidelines.
• Support planning, implementation, evaluation and acquittal activities.
• Monitor progress, actions, dependencies and risks across projects.
• Coordinate site requirements to support delivery of projects.
• Engage with local businesses, community members and stakeholders.
• Support consultation, communications and stakeholder engagement activities.
• Prepare and maintain project documentation and grant records.
• Monitor expenditure and assist with financial and grant reporting.
