Job summary

University of the Sunshine Coast is seeking a Project Support Officer in the School of Business and Creative Industries on a full-time, fixed-term basis until June 2029. The role supports Queensland Government-funded short courses by handling registrations, onboarding, learning system access, assessments and communications.

You will work with academic staff, facilitators, industry and government stakeholders to ensure a positive, accessible learning experience and high-quality reporting.

Qualifications

• A relevant degree with relevant experience, or an equivalent combination of education, training and work experience.
• Experience providing high-quality administrative support, preferably in an education, training or program environment.
• Effective written and oral communication skills, with the ability to provide clear advice and build positive relationships with participants and stakeholders.
• Demonstrated organisational and planning skills, with the ability to manage competing priorities, maintain accurate records and meet deadlines.
• Demonstrated ability to use initiative and sound judgement to resolve routine and moderately complex operational matters within established policies and procedures.
• Well-developed computer literacy and experience with systems, record keeping, file management and online platforms.

Responsibilities

• provide advice and support to prospective and current participants, including course information, eligibility and administrative requirements;
• coordinate participant registrations, onboarding, learning system access, assessment processes and course communications; and
• maintain accurate records, support reporting and contribute to improvements that enhance course administration and participant experience.
