Job summary

Mackay Regional Council in Mackay, Queensland, is seeking a Project Support Officer to help deliver projects, events, placemaking initiatives and grant programs that grow Mackay City's centre and waterfront precincts.

Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll coordinate, report, engage stakeholders, manage procurement, and keep communications channels up to date while supporting governance and financial administration.

Qualifications

• Experience in administration, event coordination, stakeholder engagement, grants administration, communications or customer service environments.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate events, manage grant documentation and prepare project reports.
• Engage with stakeholders and undertake procurement activities.
• Update communication channels and help activate community initiatives.
