The Mackay City & Waterfront team is looking for an organised and proactive Project Support Officer to help deliver projects, events, placemaking initiatives, stakeholder engagement activities and grant programs that contribute to the transformation and growth of Mackay's City Centre and Waterfront precincts.

About the Role
Reporting to the Project Manager, you'll play a pivotal role in supporting the successful delivery of a diverse portfolio of projects and initiatives by providing project coordination, governance, administration, communications, financial and stakeholder engagement support.
No two days will be the same. One day you may be coordinating an event, managing grant documentation or preparing project reports. The next, you could be engaging with stakeholders, undertaking procurement activities, updating communication channels or helping activate exciting community initiatives.
