Job summary

Fyfe is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support planning teams delivering strategic growth projects in NSW and SA. This is a 6-month contract with the possibility of a further 6-month extension.

You will coordinate project information, schedules, actions and deliverables while supporting planners, modellers and technical specialists across multiple workstreams. The role requires highly organised coordination and proactive action tracking.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years’ experience in project coordination or a similar role.
• Excellent organisational, time-management and prioritisation skills.
• Experience coordinating multiple projects or workstreams simultaneously.
• Familiarity with schedules, registers, reporting and document management.
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record-keeping.
• Clear written and verbal communication abilities.
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with water/wastewater planning projects is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate day-to-day administration across water and wastewater strategic planning projects.
• Coordinate agendas, minutes, workshops, reviews and action tracking.
• Track milestones, schedules, expenditure, accruals, forecasts and status reporting.
• Assist with consultant engagements, invoice reviews, variations and extension documentation.
• Maintain project correspondence, approvals, registers and information management records.
• Identify delays, dependencies and issues and escalate them as needed.

The opportunity

Fyfe is seeking an experienced Project Coordinator to support ourplanning teams delivering strategic growth projects. This is a 6-month contract opportunity with the possibility of a further 6-month extension.

You will coordinate project information, schedules, actions, deliverables and reporting while supporting planners, modellers and technical specialists. This role is ideal for a highly organised coordinator who can work across multiple workstreams, maintain accurate records and proactively follow up actions, risks and dependencies.

What you'll do

• Coordinate project delivery: Support day-to-day administration across water and wastewater strategic planning projects.
• Manage meetings and actions: Coordinate agendas, minutes, workshops, reviews and action tracking.
• Maintain project controls: Track milestones, schedules, expenditure, accruals, forecasts, deliverables and status reporting.
• Support contract administration: Assist with consultant engagements, invoice reviews, variations and extension documentation.
• Manage documents and records: Maintain clear project correspondence, approvals, registers and information management records.
• Keep work progressing: Identify emerging delays, dependencies and issues and elevate them appropriately.

About you

• At least 5 years' experience in project coordination, project administration or a similar role
• Strong organisational, time-management and prioritisation skills
• Experience coordinating multiple projects, tasks or workstreams simultaneously
• Experience with schedules, registers, reporting and document management
• Strong attention to detail and accurate record keeping
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to work effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders
• Experience with water utility systems will be highly regarded
