Job summary

Fyfe is seeking a Water Engineer in Australia to support a major growth program on a 6-month contract with potential extension. You will work with a Senior Water Engineer to assess growth areas, housing initiatives, and development proposals on the water network.

You will prepare modelling inputs, run scenarios, analyse capacity constraints, and identify infrastructure solutions while maintaining data quality and producing robust technical documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience in water network planning and hydraulic modelling.
• Understanding of water network infrastructure and system behaviour.
• Experience with engineering analysis and technical documentation.
• GIS or spatial data experience will be highly regarded.
• Strong communication skills and a collaborative, proactive approach.

Working with a Senior Water Engineer, you will help assess the impact of growth areas, government housing initiatives and individual development proposals on the water network. You will prepare modelling inputs, analyse scenarios and support the identification of capacity constraints and infrastructure solutions.

What you'll do

About you
