Job summary

Hutchies in Toowoomba is seeking a motivated Project Administrator to join our team on a full-time permanent basis. Based in our Toowoomba office, you’ll work on a range of education, health, government and commercial projects and gain hands-on exposure across the full project lifecycle.

You’ll be supported with ongoing training and development and have the opportunity to progress into Contract Administration or Project Management as you grow within a close-knit, down-to-earth team.

Qualifications

• Proven ability to manage administrative tasks in a project environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Strong attention to detail and organisational skills.
• Willingness to learn industry practices and Hutchies standards.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate project meetings, agendas, minutes and distribute documents.
• Manage diary, emails, travel arrangements and general admin for the project team.
• Assist with reports, presentations, monthly updates and project documentation.
• Support contract administration tasks including subcontract documents and invoices.
• Maintain project registers for variations, EOTs, procurement and document control.
• Undertake weekly site visits to support project delivery.
• Assist with defect management and project close-out processes.
• Provide day-to-day office support to ensure smooth team operations.
