Job summary

CSR Springboard in Melbourne's Yarraville site is hiring a Production Operator to run Gyprock workstations and support high‑volume plasterboard production. This full‑time role emphasizes safety, quality, and efficiency within a busy factory environment.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Operate Gyprock workstations to support efficient plasterboard production.
• Identify and report equipment or product faults to minimise downtime.
• Unload and stage products and maintain clean, safe work areas.
• Participate in safety initiatives and risk assessments to improve quality.
• Perform housekeeping and other duties as required, including forklift duties.

• Operating at our Gyprock Factory.
• Attractive hourly rate of $34.21/hr + shift allowance CSR benefits.
• Training provided for all candidates.

About the role

The Production Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at Yarraville, VIC Reporting to the Supervisoryou will be responsible for the operation of the Gyprock workstations and the efficient production of Gyprock plasterboard, while maintaining quality, low cost, and safe work practices.

In this role you will:

• Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
• Identify and report equipment and product faults.
• Unload and stage (put away) various products.
• Be involved in identifying risks and hazards and contributing to initiatives that focus on improving quality.
• Housekeeping and other duties as required.
• Forklift driving required.(3T or above) - Forklift licence is preferred or willing to obtain.
