Job summary

CSR Limited is hiring a Production Operator (Forklift Driver) at Coopers Plains, QLD. This full-time role operates on a 24/5 rotating roster (Day, Afternoon, Night) with an attractive hourly rate and shift allowance.

Training is provided to successful candidates to ensure safe, efficient Gyprock production and quality control. The role reports to the Supervisor and focuses on safe operations, material readiness, process adherence, quality assurance, and data recording in CSR systems.

Qualifications

• Strong safety awareness.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster.
• Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high-volume manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities

• Champion a safety-first culture within the factory to pursue a zero-harm environment.
• Ensure adequate raw material levels to run the schedule and prepare PBL reels.
• Adhere to approved formulations and process settings.
• Conduct Quality Assurance testing as per national requirements.
• Perform process adjustments to meet product specifications.
• Record production and quality data in CSR's online systems.

Production Operator (Coopers Plains, QLD)

• 24/5 days a week site operation at our Gyprock Factory
• Rotating shift roster (Day 6am-2pm, Afternoon 2pm-10pm and Night 10pm-6am).
• Attractive hourly rate of $34.65/hr + shift allowance + overtime and CSR benefits.
• Training provided for all candidates.

About the role

The Production Operator, Forklift Driver roleis a Full-Time position, based at Coopers Plains, QLD. Reporting to the Supervisoryou will be responsible for the operation of the Gyprock workstations and the efficient production of Gyprock, while maintaining quality, low cost, and safe work practices.

In this role you will:

• Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past
• Ensure adequate raw material levels to run the schedule including the preparation of PBL reels
• Adherence with approved formulation and process settings
• Quality Assurance testing consistent with National testing matrix requirements
• Process manipulation as required to achieve product specifications eg formulation adjustment, dressing of scoring wheels.
• Production and quality data to be recorded and entered directly into CSR's online systems.
