CSR Limited is seeking a Production Supervisor for the Gyprock Plant in Yarraville, VIC. This full-time role reports to the Manufacturing Manager and leads the Gyprock Yarraville production teams, safeguarding health, safety, the environment, and CSR’s code of conduct.

You will supervise on a rotating day/night roster, operate equipment, and collaborate with engineers and managers on process improvements while using strong people-management skills.

• Supervisory & motivational experience & knowledge (people person).
• Knowledge & production experience in a manufacturing environment.

About the role

The Production Supervisor role is a Full-Time position, based at Yarraville, VIC. Reporting to Manufacturing Manager you will provide people and process leadership to the Gyprock Yarraville Production teams, ensuring the team's health & safety, the environment, and CSR's code of conduct are never compromised.

In this role, you will:

• Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
• Supervise the production team on a rotating shift roster (Day -6am-6pm, Night 6pm-6am) 24/hr x 7 days a week operation.
• Operating machinery and ensuring materials are produced to the commercial standard.
• Ensure adherence with all Site Safety requirements, including PSIs, incident reporting / investigations and completing all corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Managers and Production employees as well as other parts of the areas including Process improvement and Engineers.
• Have excellent people management and problem-solving skills as technical support will be required.
