Job summary

CSR Limited is seeking a Production Operator for the Gyprock plasterboard line in Yarraville, VIC. This full-time onsite role reports to the Supervisor and focuses on safe, efficient operation of Gyprock workstations and quality production.

The role includes forklift responsibilities and a rotating roster. Training provided. CSR benefits and shift allowances accompany the hourly rate.

• Proven experience in a high-volume, multi-stage manufacturing environment preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Gyprock workstations to ensure efficient plasterboard production and quality.
• Unload and stage products as required.
• Identify and report equipment or product faults.
• Identify risks and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.
• Maintain housekeeping and perform other duties as required.
• Forklift driving required (3T or above); forklift licence preferred or willing to obtain.

About the role

The Production Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at Yarraville, VIC Reporting to the Supervisoryou will be responsible for the operation of the Gyprock workstations and the efficient production of Gyprock plasterboard, while maintaining quality, low cost, and safe work practices.

In this role you will:

• Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
• Identify and report equipment and product faults.
• Unload and stage (put away) various products.
• Be involved in identifying risks and hazards and contributing to initiatives that focus on improving quality.
• Housekeeping and other duties as required.
• Forklift driving required.(3T or above) - Forklift licence is preferred or willing to obtain.
