CSR Limited in Melbourne is seeking a Production Operator to join the Gyprock factory at Yarraville. This full-time role reports to the Supervisor and drives efficient production, quality, safety, and cost control.

You will operate Gyprock workstations, unload and stage products, and contribute to a zero-harm culture while adapting to a rotating roster. CSR offers an attractive hourly rate of $34.21/hr plus shift allowance, training provided, opportunities to upskill, and a supportive, inclusive

Qualifications

• Strong safety awareness.
• High attention to detail.
• Willingness to work a rotating roster.
• Proven success in a similar role, preferably in a high volume, multi- stage manufacturing / factory environment is desirable.

About the role

The Production Operator role is a Full-Time position, based at Yarraville, VIC Reporting to the Supervisor you will be responsible for the operation of the Gyprock workstations and the efficient production of Gyprock plasterboard, while maintaining quality, low cost, and safe work practices.

In this role you will :

• Champion a safety-first culture within the factory in pursuit of a zero-harm environment ensuring to Never Walk Past.
• Identify and report equipment and product faults.
• Unload and stage (put away) various products.
• Be involved in identifying risks and hazards and contributing to initiatives that focus on improving quality.
• Housekeeping and other duties as required.
• Forklift driving required.(3T or above) – Forklift licence is preferred or willing to obtain.
